An ongoing redesign of a 2 bedroom family home in Surrey. The client asked for a complete redesign of the master bedroom. They requested bedside lamps for reading, and a ‘hidden’ study space that could be utilised in the day and put away at night. I opted for a drop-leaf table tucked under the window sill. The room showcases a neutral palette, with the grey stucco walls contrasting the earthy bamboo tones and splashes of yellow.
The teenagers wanted a chic and cozy room that utilised the big windows and natural light for study. Under-bed storage and wall shelves maximise the space. I opted for a sophisticated dark blue and gold palette. I chose a colourful tropical wallpaper for the accent wall, neon light features above each bed and pops of yellow to tie the room together with the master bedroom.
